Guatapé

Guatapé is one of the most colorful and visually striking destinations in Colombia. Once a quiet rural town, it gained national and international recognition after the construction of the nearby reservoir, which transformed the landscape into a mosaic of water, islands, and rolling green hills.

Today, Guatapé is known for its vibrant streets, hand painted zócalos, and joyful atmosphere. Every building tells a story through color and detail, creating a playful and authentic setting. Just outside the town, the iconic Piedra del Peñol offers one of the most spectacular panoramic views in the region, making the area feel expansive, fresh, and cinematic.

What we love most about Guatapé is its bold visual identity. The contrast between bright colors, natural light, and the surrounding water creates endless opportunities for photography and video. It is a location that feels lively, romantic, and full of character, perfect for capturing moments that feel both timeless and unforgettable.
